Our training methods are geared to produce a fast barrel horse with maximum potential for each horse. Whether you are looking to start a colt or fine tune a finished barrel horse, we can help. During the barrel horse training at the Melby Center you are welcomed to come and have lessons throughout the entire training process. We actually encourage this as the training will be most effective if we train and teach both the horse and rider to become the best barrel racer possible.

Top care for your horse while in our possession is of the most importance to us. We know your horse is a member of your family and you only want the best. During training your horse may be ridden and asked to do much more on a daily basis than they currently are and a proper diet is essential. That's why all our training prices include top quality hay, grain, water & supplements for your barrel horse each day. Upon your horse arriving for training, we will carefully go over it's needs and put them on an optimal diet for a top performance horse. All horses have their own stall and are kept in a secure, modern, comfortable facility.
